The GenieFluor 647 Anti-Human CD193 (CCR3) Antibody (5E8) is a cutting-edge tool for researchers studying immune responses and inflammatory processes in humans. This highly specific antibody is designed to target the CD193 (CCR3) protein, a key molecule involved in immune cell migration and activation. By binding to CD193, the antibody enables precise detection and analysis of this important protein in various cell types.CD193, also known as C-C chemokine receptor type 3 (CCR3), plays a crucial role in regulating allergic reactions, inflammation, and immune cell trafficking. Dysregulation of CCR3 has been implicated in conditions such as asthma, allergic diseases, and certain types of cancer.
Therefore, investigating the expression and function of CD193 is essential for understanding the underlying mechanisms of these diseases and developing targeted therapeutic interventions. The GenieFluor 647 Anti-Human CD193 (CCR3) Antibody (5E8) is rigorously validated for its specificity and sensitivity in various experimental applications, including flow cytometry and immunofluorescence. With this powerful tool, researchers can delve deeper into the intricate workings of the immune system and potentially uncover new insights into disease pathology and treatment strategies.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD193, also known as CC-chemokine receptor 3 (CCR3), CC CKR3, MIP1-alpha receptor like-2, and eotaxin receptor, is a member of the G protein-coupled seven transmembrane receptors family. It binds to the CC chemokines eotaxin, eotaxin-2, and eotaxin-3 with high affinity. CCR3 has also been reported to bind RANTES, MCP-3, and MCP-4 with low affinity. CCR3 receptor is expressed on human eosinophils, basophils, mast cells, mononuclear phagocytes, platelets, CD34+ hematopoietic progenitor cells, Th2-like lymphocytes, and keratinocytes. CCR3 is thought to play a role in allergic diseases such as bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis. CCR3 is a co-receptor for HIV-1 and HIV-2, and the binding of eotaxin with CCR3 has been shown to inhibit HIV infection in some cell types.
