The Gamma Catenin Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4157) is a cutting-edge research tool designed for studying gamma catenin, a key protein involved in cell adhesion and signal transduction pathways. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for gamma catenin in human samples, making it a reliable tool for Western blot applications.Gamma catenin, also known as plakoglobin, plays a crucial role in stabilizing cell-cell adhesion complexes and regulating cell signaling processes. Dysregulation of gamma catenin has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders.
By targeting gamma catenin with this monoclonal antibody, researchers can investigate its role in disease pathogenesis and explore potential therapeutic interventions. With its proven performance in detecting gamma catenin in a variety of cell types, this monoclonal antibody is an invaluable asset for studies in cell biology, cancer research, and drug development. Gain deeper insights into the functions of gamma catenin and its implications in disease mechanisms with the Gamma Catenin Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4157).

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 15-115 of human γ-Catenin (P14923).
This gene encodes a major cytoplasmic protein which is the only known constituent common to submembranous plaques of both desmosomes and intermediate junctions. This protein forms distinct complexes with cadherins and desmosomal cadherins and is a member of the catenin family since it contains a distinct repeating amino acid motif called the armadillo repeat. Mutation in this gene has been associated with Naxos disease. Alternative splicing occurs in this gene; however, not all transcripts have been fully described.
