The G3BP1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14836) is a valuable tool for researchers studying G3BP1, a protein involved in stress granule formation and mRNA regulation in response to cellular stress. This antibody, produced in rabbits, specifically targets the G3BP1 protein in human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to G3BP1, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of the protein in a variety of cell types, making it an essential reagent for studies in molecular biology and cancer research.G3BP1 plays a crucial role in cellular stress responses and is implicated in the regulation of gene expression under adverse conditions.
Its involvement in stress granule dynamics and RNA metabolism makes it a key player in cellular homeostasis and response to environmental challenges. Research on G3BP1 can provide insights into various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and viral infections, where dysregulation of stress responses may contribute to pathogenesis. This antibody is a valuable tool for understanding the functions of G3BP1 and its potential as a target for therapeutic interventions in disease contexts.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 131-330 of human G3BP1 (NP_938405.1).
This gene encodes one of the DNA-unwinding enzymes which prefers partially unwound 3'-tailed substrates and can also unwind partial RNA/DNA and RNA/RNA duplexes in an ATP-dependent fashion. This enzyme is a member of the heterogeneous nuclear RNA-binding proteins and is also an element of the Ras signal transduction pathway. It binds specifically to the Ras-GTPase-activating protein by associating with its SH3 domain. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been determined.
