The FSD1 Polyclonal Antibody (PACO60324) is an essential tool for research involving FSD1, a protein associated with fertility and sperm development. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting. By binding specifically to the FSD1 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in multiple cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in reproductive biology and fertility research.
FSD1, also known as fertility-sensitivity-related protein, plays a crucial role in sperm function and male fertility, making it a key target for investigating reproductive health and infertility issues. Understanding the function and regulation of FSD1 can provide valuable insights into male reproductive disorders and potential treatment options. With its ability to accurately detect FSD1, this antibody is a valuable resource for researchers aiming to unravel the mysteries of fertility and sperm development.

IHC image of PACO60324 diluted at 1:500 and staining in paraffin-embedded human brain tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.

NCBI Summary:
This gene encodes a centrosome associated protein that is characterized by an N-terminal coiled-coil region downstream of B-box (BBC) domain, a central fibronectin type III domain, and a C-terminal repeats in splA and RyR (SPRY) domain. The encoded protein associates with a subset of microtubules and may be involved in the stability and organization of microtubules during cytokinesis. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2009]
