The FLT3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12462) is a valuable tool for researchers studying FLT3, a cell surface receptor involved in the regulation of hematopoietic stem cells and immune responses. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the FLT3 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of FLT3 expression in various cell types, making it an essential component for investigations in the fields of immunology and oncology.FLT3, also known as Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3, plays a crucial role in the development and function of hematopoietic cells, making it a key target for studying diseases such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and other hematologic malignancies.
Understanding the role of FLT3 in immune response regulation and leukemogenesis is essential for the development of targeted therapies aimed at treating these disorders. The FLT3 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a reliable tool to further explore the functions and mechanisms of FLT3 in health and disease.

This gene encodes a class III receptor tyrosine kinase that regulates hematopoiesis. This receptor is activated by binding of the fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand to the extracellular domain, which induces homodimer formation in the plasma membrane leading to autophosphorylation of the receptor. The activated receptor kinase subsequently phosphorylates and activates multiple cytoplasmic effector molecules in pathways involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow. Mutations that result in the constitutive activation of this receptor result in acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
