The FITC Anti-Mouse CD4 Antibody (RM4-5) (AGEL3452) offered by Assay Genie is a crucial tool for researchers studying immune responses in mice. This antibody specifically targets the CD4 protein on mouse cell surfaces, allowing for precise detection and analysis in various experimental settings. With its fluorescent labeling, this antibody is ideal for flow cytometry applications, enabling researchers to accurately identify and characterize CD4-positive cells within complex biological samples. The high specificity and sensitivity of the RM4-5 antibody make it a reliable reagent for immunophenotyping studies, immunohistochemistry, and other immune-related assays in mouse models. The CD4 molecule is a key marker for T helper cells, playing essential roles in orchestrating immune responses and maintaining immune system balance.
By using the FITC Anti-Mouse CD4 Antibody (RM4-5), researchers can gain valuable insights into T cell activation, differentiation, and function, contributing to a better understanding of immune-mediated diseases, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders in mouse models.Assay Genie's FITC Anti-Mouse CD4 Antibody (RM4-5) is a well-validated research tool that provides reliable and accurate results for studies focused on immunology, inflammation, and infectious diseases in mouse models. Researchers can trust this antibody to deliver consistent and reproducible data, advancing their research efforts towards elucidating the complex mechanisms of immune regulation and immune-mediated pathologies.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD4 is a 55 kD protein also known as L3T4 or T4. It is a member of the Ig superfamily, primarily expressed on most thymocytes and a subset of T cells, and weakly on macrophages and dendritic cells. It acts as a co-receptor with the TCR during T cell activation and thymic differentiation by binding MHC class II and associating with the protein tyrosine kinase lck.
