The FIGF Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13617) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the Fibroblast Growth Factor-Inducible 14 (FIGF) protein. This antibody, produced using a polyclonal antibody method, demonstrates high reactivity specifically with human samples, making it a reliable choice for experiments in the field of molecular biology and cancer research.FIGF, also known as vascular endothelial growth factor D (VEGF-D), is a crucial player in the growth and development of blood vessels, making it a promising target for studies related to angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, and tumor progression.
The ability of this antibody to detect and bind to FIGF enables researchers to explore the role of FIGF in various cell types and biological processes, providing insights into potential therapeutic interventions for conditions such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases. By utilizing the FIGF Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can further their understanding of FIGF-mediated pathways and mechanisms, paving the way for innovative discoveries in the field of molecular biology and beyond.
Product Name:
VEGF-D Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB13617
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 20-220 of human VEGF-D (NP_004460.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor/vascular endothelial growth factor (PDGF/VEGF) family and is active in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth. This secreted protein undergoes a complex proteolytic maturation, generating multiple processed forms which bind and activate VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3 receptors. This protein is structurally and functionally similar to vascular endothelial growth factor C. Read-through transcription has been observed between this locus and the upstream PIR (GeneID 8544) locus.
