The FIGF Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1194) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the FGF-interacting protein (FIGF), also known as vascular endothelial growth factor D (VEGF-D). This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for use in various research applications, including Western blot analysis.FIGF is a key player in angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis, playing a crucial role in the development and maintenance of blood and lymphatic vessels. Dysregulation of FIGF has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, inflammatory disorders, and cardiovascular diseases.
By targeting FIGF with this antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of FIGF in these pathological processes and potentially identify new therapeutic targets. With its high specificity and reactivity, the FIGF Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1194) is a valuable tool for researchers interested in studying FIGF and its role in physiological and pathological angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis. Its versatility and reliability make it an essential component of any research program focused on vascular biology and related diseases.
Product Name:
VEGF-D Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB1194
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 20-220 of human VEGF-D (NP_004460.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor/vascular endothelial growth factor (PDGF/VEGF) family and is active in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth. This secreted protein undergoes a complex proteolytic maturation, generating multiple processed forms which bind and activate VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3 receptors. This protein is structurally and functionally similar to vascular endothelial growth factor C. Read-through transcription has been observed between this locus and the upstream PIR (GeneID 8544) locus.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
Gene ID:
2277
