The FN1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12932) is a valuable tool for researchers studying fibronectin 1, a glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion and migration processes. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is suitable for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. By binding to the FN1 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in cell biology, tissue remodeling, and cancer metastasis research.
Fibronectin 1 plays a crucial role in the extracellular matrix and is often dysregulated in various diseases, including cancer, fibrosis, and vascular disorders. Understanding the functions and regulatory mechanisms of FN1 is essential for developing targeted therapies and diagnostic tools for these conditions. By utilizing the FN1 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of fibronectin 1 in disease progression and potential therapeutic interventions.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 2169-2355 of human Fibronectin (NP_002017.1).
This gene encodes fibronectin, a glycoprotein present in a soluble dimeric form in plasma, and in a dimeric or multimeric form at the cell surface and in extracellular matrix. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature protein. Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion and migration processes including embryogenesis, wound healing, blood coagulation, host defense, and metastasis. The gene has three regions subject to alternative splicing, with the potential to produce 20 different transcript variants, at least one of which encodes an isoform that undergoes proteolytic processing. The full-length nature of some variants has not been determined.
