Description
FHL2 Monoclonal Antibody [PAT21D11AT] (CPAB0682)
The FHL2 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0682) is an essential tool for researchers studying FHL2, a protein associated with cell signaling and gene regulation in various biological processes. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for human samples and is suitable for Western blot applications.FHL2, also known as four and a half LIM domains protein 2, plays a key role in modulating cell growth, differentiation, and survival by interacting with various transcription factors and signaling molecules. Its involvement in pathways related to cancer development, cardiovascular diseases, and musculoskeletal disorders makes it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.
By utilizing the FHL2 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can investigate the function and expression levels of FHL2 in different cell types and disease states, advancing our understanding of its biological roles and potential implications for clinical applications. This antibody is a valuable asset for studies in molecular biology, cancer research, and drug discovery aimed at targeting FHL2 for therapeutic purposes.

Background: | Four And A Half LIM Domains 2 (FHL2) belongs to the four-and-a-half-LIM-only protein family. Family members are comprised of 2 highly conserved, tandemly arranged, zinc finger domains with 4 highly conserved cysteines binding a zinc atom in each zinc finger. The FHL2 protein is assumed to play a part in the assembly of extracellular membranes. Furthermore, FHL2 is down-regulated during transformation of normal myoblasts to rhabdomyosarcoma cells and the FHL2 functions as a link between presenilin-2 and an intracellular signaling pathway. |
