The Anti-FGF7/KGF Antibody (CAB5966) offered by AssayGenie is a valuable tool for researchers studying fibroblast growth factor 7 (FGF7), also known as keratinocyte growth factor (KGF). This polyclonal antibody, produced in-house, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for a variety of research applications.FGF7 is a critical growth factor involved in tissue regeneration, wound healing, and epithelial proliferation. Its aberrant expression has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and inflammatory conditions. The Anti-FGF7/KGF Antibody binds specifically to FGF7/KGF, allowing for the detection and analysis of this protein in various cell types and tissues.
Researchers in the fields of oncology, regenerative medicine, and developmental biology can benefit from the use of this antibody in techniques such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. By studying the expression and function of FGF7/KGF, scientists can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying disease pathogenesis and potentially identify novel therapeutic targets.Overall, the Anti-FGF7/KGF Antibody (CAB5966) from AssayGenie is a reliable and versatile tool for investigating the role of FGF7/KGF in health and disease, paving the way for advancements in personalized medicine and targeted therapies.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This protein is a potent epithelial cell-specific growth factor, whose mitogenic activity is predominantly exhibited in keratinocytes but not in fibroblasts and endothelial cells. Studies of mouse and rat homologs of this gene implicated roles in morphogenesis of epithelium, reepithelialization of wounds, hair development and early lung organogenesis.
