The FARSB Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15375) is a valuable tool for researchers studying FARSB, an essential enzyme involved in aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis. This antibody, raised in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the FARSB protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in molecular biology and genetics.FARSB, also known as phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase beta subunit, plays a crucial role in protein synthesis by catalyzing the attachment of phenylalanine to its cognate tRNA molecule.
Dysregulation of FARSB activity has been linked to a variety of diseases, including neurological disorders and certain types of cancer. Therefore, understanding the function of FARSB is essential for developing targeted therapies and interventions in these pathological conditions.Overall, the FARSB Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15375) provides researchers with a powerful tool for studying the role of FARSB in cellular processes and disease pathogenesis, offering new insights into potential therapeutic targets and strategies for precision medicine.

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 240-589 of human FARSB (NP_005678.3).
This gene encodes a highly conserved enzyme that belongs to the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase class IIc subfamily. This enzyme comprises the regulatory beta subunits that form a tetramer with two catalytic alpha subunits. In the presence of ATP, this tetramer is responsible for attaching L-phenylalanine to the terminal adenosine of the appropriate tRNA. A pseudogene located on chromosome 10 has been identified. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
