The FANCL Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6812) is a valuable tool for researchers studying FANCL, a key player in the DNA repair pathway and cellular response to DNA damage. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the FANCL protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of FANCL expression in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for studies in molecular biology and cancer research.
FANCL is a vital component of the Fanconi anemia pathway, which is essential for maintaining genomic stability and preventing the accumulation of DNA damage. Dysregulation of FANCL has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and genetic disorders. By investigating the role of FANCL in DNA repair and genome maintenance, researchers can gain insights into disease mechanisms and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for intervention.
Product Name:
FANCL Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB6812
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-255 of human FANCL (NP_060532.2).
This gene encodes a ubiquitin ligase that is a member of the Fanconi anemia complementation group (FANC). Members of this group are related by their assembly into a common nuclear protein complex rather than by sequence similarity. This gene encodes the protein for complementation group L that mediates monoubiquitination of FANCD2 as well as FANCI. Fanconi anemia is a genetically heterogeneous recessive disorder characterized by cytogenetic instability, hypersensitivity to DNA crosslinking agents, increased chromosomal breakage, and defective DNA repair. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
