The FADD Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19049) is a vital tool for researchers studying the FADD protein, an essential component of the extrinsic apoptosis pathway. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high specificity for human samples and is validated for use in a variety of applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry.FADD, or Fas-associated death domain protein, is a key regulator of apoptotic cell death, playing a crucial role in immune response and development. Dysregulation of FADD has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions.
By targeting FADD with this antibody, researchers can analyze its expression and function in different cell types, providing valuable insights for immunology and cancer research. The FADD Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody offers reliable and reproducible results, making it an essential tool for investigating the role of FADD in various biological processes. Its high reactivity and specificity make it an excellent choice for researchers seeking to unravel the complex mechanisms of cell death and immune regulation.

The protein encoded by this gene is an adaptor molecule that interacts with various cell surface receptors and mediates cell apoptotic signals. Through its C-terminal death domain, this protein can be recruited by TNFRSF6/Fas-receptor, tumor necrosis factor receptor, TNFRSF25, and TNFSF10/TRAIL-receptor, and thus it participates in the death signaling initiated by these receptors. Interaction of this protein with the receptors unmasks the N-terminal effector domain of this protein, which allows it to recruit caspase-8, and thereby activate the cysteine protease cascade. Knockout studies in mice also suggest the importance of this protein in early T cell development.
