The EYA3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7893) is a vital tool for research on EYA3, a protein known for its role in DNA repair, cell proliferation, and development. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for EYA3 in human samples, making it a reliable choice for Western blot applications. By targeting the EYA3 protein, researchers can gain insights into its functions and mechanisms in various biological processes, making it a valuable asset for studies in cancer biology, developmental biology, and genomics.
EYA3, a member of the EYA family of proteins, is involved in the repair of DNA damage, cell cycle regulation, and gene expression control. Its dysregulation has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, developmental disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions, highlighting its importance as a therapeutic target. By studying the role of EYA3 using this antibody, researchers can uncover new insights into disease mechanisms and potentially identify novel treatment strategies.

This gene encodes a member of the eyes absent (EYA) family of proteins. The encoded protein may act as a transcriptional activator and have a role during development. It can act as a mediator of chemoresistance and cell survival in Ewing sarcoma cells, where this gene is up-regulated via a micro-RNA that binds to the 3' UTR of the transcript. A similar protein in mice acts as a transcriptional activator. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants.
