The EXOC3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB4506) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the role of EXOC3 in cellular transport and secretion processes. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the EXOC3 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of EXOC3 in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in cell biology and molecular biology.EXOC3 is a component of the exocyst complex, a key regulator of vesicle trafficking and exocytosis in eukaryotic cells.
It plays a crucial role in the targeting and fusion of vesicles to the plasma membrane, facilitating the secretion of proteins and other molecules. Research on EXOC3 is important for understanding fundamental cellular processes and its implications in diseases related to secretion dysregulation.By utilizing the EXOC3 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can further explore the functions and mechanisms of EXOC3 in cellular secretion pathways, potentially leading to insights into the development of therapeutics targeting secretion-related disorders.

The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the exocyst complex, a multiple protein complex essential for targeting exocytic vesicles to specific docking sites on the plasma membrane. Though best characterized in yeast, the component proteins and functions of exocyst complex have been demonstrated to be highly conserved in higher eukaryotes. At least eight components of the exocyst complex, including this protein, are found to interact with the actin cytoskeletal remodeling and vesicle transport machinery. The complex is also essential for the biogenesis of epithelial cell surface polarity.
