The EPHA3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8414) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the EPHA3 protein, a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in cell signaling and regulation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for human samples, making it suitable for use in Western blotting and immunohistochemistry applications. By targeting the EPHA3 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of EPHA3 expression in various cell types, providing insights into its role in cellular processes.EPHA3 has been implicated in a wide range of biological functions, including cell adhesion, migration, and survival, making it a promising target for investigations in developmental biology, neurobiology, and cancer research.
The aberrant expression and activation of EPHA3 have been linked to tumor progression and metastasis, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target in oncology. By studying the functions of EPHA3 with the help of this antibody, researchers can gain a better understanding of its role in health and disease, paving the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

This gene belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors have been implicated in mediating developmental events, particularly in the nervous system. Receptors in the EPH subfamily typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region containing a Cys-rich domain and 2 fibronectin type III repeats. The ephrin receptors are divided into 2 groups based on the similarity of their extracellular domain sequences and their affinities for binding ephrin-A and ephrin-B ligands. This gene encodes a protein that binds ephrin-A ligands. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene.
