The Eotaxin Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7569) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the role of eotaxin, a chemokine involved in the recruitment of eosinophils, in immune responses. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the eotaxin protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in various cell types, making it a valuable asset for studies in immunology and inflammatory diseases.Eotaxin has been identified as a key player in allergic responses and inflammatory conditions such as asthma and atopic dermatitis.
Its ability to attract eosinophils to sites of inflammation underscores its importance in the pathogenesis of these diseases. Research into the functions of eotaxin is crucial for developing targeted therapies that may alleviate symptoms and improve patient outcomes in allergic and inflammatory disorders.Overall, the Eotaxin Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7569) provides researchers with a reliable tool to investigate the role of eotaxin in immune responses and inflammatory diseases, paving the way for potential therapeutic advancements in the field.

This antimicrobial gene is one of several chemokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Chemokines form a superfamily of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The superfamily is divided into four subfamilies based on the arrangement of the N-terminal cysteine residues of the mature peptide. This chemokine, a member of the CC subfamily, displays chemotactic activity for eosinophils, but not mononuclear cells or neutrophils. This eosinophil-specific chemokine is thought to be involved in eosinophilic inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, asthma and parasitic infections.
