The FITC Anti-Human CD39 Antibody (A1) from Assay Genie is specially designed for researchers studying CD39, a cell surface protein involved in immune regulation and inflammation modulation. This antibody, produced for sensing human samples, is ideal for various applications, including flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.CD39, also known as ENTPD1, is a crucial enzyme responsible for the hydrolysis of extracellular ATP and ADP. By modulating purinergic signaling, CD39 plays a key role in regulating immune responses, inflammation, and thrombosis.
Dysregulation of CD39 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and cardiovascular conditions. The FITC Anti-Human CD39 Antibody (A1) offers high specificity and sensitivity in detecting CD39 expression, allowing researchers to analyze its presence in different cell types and tissues. By understanding the function and regulation of CD39, insights into the pathogenesis of various diseases can be gained, potentially opening avenues for novel therapeutic interventions.

Background:
Human CD39 is an integral membrane protein with two transmembrane domains. It exists as a homotetramer. Expression of CD39 is found on activated lymphocytes, a subset of T cells and B cells, and dendritic cells with weak staining on monocytes and granulocytes. CD39 and CD73 have been found on regulatory T cells, specifically the effector/memory like T cells. CD39 can hydrolyze both nucleoside triphosphates and diphosphates. CD39 is the dominant ecto nucleotidase of vascular and placental trophoblastic tissues and appears to modulate the functional expression of type 2 purinergic (P2) G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). CD39 has intrinsic ecto-ATPase activity. Expression of CD39 is induced on T cells and increased on B cells as a late activation antigen. Product Details
