The ENPP3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14763) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the ENPP3 protein, also known as ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase family member 3. The antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the ENPP3 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in various cell types, making it ideal for investigations in the fields of immunology and cancer research.ENPP3 is a cell surface enzyme that plays a crucial role in regulating extracellular nucleotide and nucleoside levels, thereby influencing various physiological and pathological processes.
Studies have shown its involvement in angiogenesis, tumor progression, and inflammation, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target in conditions such as cancer and inflammatory diseases. By elucidating the function of ENPP3, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and develop targeted therapies to combat them.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a series of ectoenzymes that are involved in hydrolysis of extracellular nucleotides. These ectoenzymes possess ATPase and ATP pyrophosphatase activities and are type II transmembrane proteins. Expression of the related rat mRNA has been found in a subset of immature glial cells and in the alimentary tract. The corresponding rat protein has been detected in the pancreas, small intestine, colon, and liver. The human mRNA is expressed in glioma cells, prostate, and uterus. Expression of the human protein has been detected in uterus, basophils, and mast cells. Two transcript variants, one protein coding and the other non-protein coding, have been found for this gene.
