The ENPP2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2522) is a valuable tool for researchers studying ENPP2, a cell surface molecule known for its role in regulating immune responses and inflammation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the ENPP2 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of ENPP2 in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in immunology and cancer research. ENPP2, also known as autotaxin, is a key player in immune modulation and has been implicated in various diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions.
Understanding the function and regulation of ENPP2 is essential for the development of targeted therapies that manipulate immune responses for therapeutic benefit. The ENPP2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2522) provides researchers with a reliable tool to further explore the role of ENPP2 in these disease contexts and contribute to the advancement of clinical treatments.
Product Name:
ENPP2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB2522
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 564-863 of human ENPP2 (NP_001035181.1).
The protein encoded by this gene functions as both a phosphodiesterase, which cleaves phosphodiester bonds at the 5' end of oligonucleotides, and a phospholipase, which catalyzes production of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in extracellular fluids. LPA evokes growth factor-like responses including stimulation of cell proliferation and chemotaxis. This gene product stimulates the motility of tumor cells and has angiogenic properties, and its expression is upregulated in several kinds of carcinomas. The gene product is secreted and further processed to make the biologically active form. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
