The Endoglin Polyclonal Antibody (CAB5639) is a valuable tool for researchers studying endoglin, a cell surface glycoprotein involved in various biological processes, including angiogenesis and cardiovascular development. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.Endoglin, also known as CD105, is a key regulator of TGF-beta signaling and is overexpressed in tumor vasculature, making it a potential therapeutic target for cancer treatment. By specifically binding to endoglin protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of endoglin expression in different cell types, making it ideal for studies in angiogenesis, cardiovascular research, and cancer biology.
The role of endoglin in regulating blood vessel formation and tissue remodeling underscores its importance in various pathologies, including cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Understanding the signaling pathways and functions of endoglin is essential for developing targeted therapies and diagnostic tools for these conditions. The Endoglin Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable resource for researchers looking to further explore the role of endoglin in health and disease.

This gene encodes a homodimeric transmembrane protein which is a major glycoprotein of the vascular endothelium. This protein is a component of the transforming growth factor beta receptor complex and it binds to the beta1 and beta3 peptides with high affinity. Mutations in this gene cause hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, also known as Osler-Rendu-Weber syndrome 1, an autosomal dominant multisystemic vascular dysplasia. This gene may also be involved in preeclampsia and several types of cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
