The Elk1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19046) is a highly specific and sensitive tool for research involving the Elk1 protein, a transcription factor that plays a key role in cell growth, differentiation, and survival. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is designed to detect Elk1 in human samples, making it an ideal choice for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. By targeting the Elk1 protein, researchers can gain insights into its function in various cellular processes, including gene expression regulation and cell signaling pathways.
This antibody's high reactivity and specificity make it a valuable tool for studies in cancer biology, developmental biology, and signal transduction research. Understanding the role of Elk1 in cellular processes can provide valuable information for developing targeted therapies for diseases related to dysregulated cell growth and survival.

This gene is a member of the Ets family of transcription factors and of the ternary complex factor (TCF) subfamily. Proteins of the TCF subfamily form a ternary complex by binding to the the serum response factor and the serum response element in the promoter of the c-fos proto-oncogene. The protein encoded by this gene is a nuclear target for the ras-raf-MAPK signaling cascade. This gene produces multiple isoforms by using alternative translational start codons and by alternative splicing. Related pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 7 and 14.
