The EEF1A1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0974) is a valuable tool for researchers studying EEF1A1, a protein associated with cellular functions such as protein synthesis and cytoskeletal organization. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the EEF1A1 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of EEF1A1 expression in various cell types, making it ideal for investigations in molecular biology and cancer research.EEF1A1, also known as eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 alpha 1, is essential for protein synthesis and plays a crucial role in the regulation of cellular processes.
Dysregulation of EEF1A1 has been implicated in diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and developmental abnormalities. Understanding the function and regulation of EEF1A1 is key to unraveling its role in these pathological conditions and developing potential therapeutic interventions. Overall, the EEF1A1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0974) offers researchers a valuable tool for studying the role of EEF1A1 in cellular processes and disease pathogenesis, paving the way for advancements in biomedical research and drug discovery.

This gene encodes an isoform of the alpha subunit of the elongation factor-1 complex, which is responsible for the enzymatic delivery of aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. This isoform (alpha 1) is expressed in brain, placenta, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas, and the other isoform (alpha 2) is expressed in brain, heart and skeletal muscle. This isoform is identified as an autoantigen in 66% of patients with Felty syndrome. This gene has been found to have multiple copies on many chromosomes, some of which, if not all, represent different pseudogenes.
