The Dynll1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14496) is a valuable tool for researchers studying Dynll1, a protein involved in intracellular transport and cell division processes. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and reactivity towards human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blotting and immunofluorescence applications.Dynll1, also known as Dynein light chain 1, plays a crucial role in the regulation of dynein motor protein activity, which is essential for various cellular functions such as vesicle transport and mitotic spindle formation.
Dysregulation of Dynll1 has been associated with diseases like cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.By using the Dynll1 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can easily detect and analyze Dynll1 expression in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its biological functions. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in cell biology, cancer research, and neurobiology, helping to advance our understanding of Dynll1's role in health and disease.

Cytoplasmic dyneins are large enzyme complexes with a molecular mass of about 1,200 kD. They contain two force-producing heads formed primarily from dynein heavy chains, and stalks linking the heads to a basal domain, which contains a varying number of accessory intermediate chains. The complex is involved in intracellular transport and motility. The protein described in this record is a light chain and exists as part of this complex but also physically interacts with and inhibits the activity of neuronal nitric oxide synthase. Binding of this protein destabilizes the neuronal nitric oxide synthase dimer, a conformation necessary for activity, and it may regulate numerous biologic processes through its effects on nitric oxide synthase activity. Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been characterized.
