The Dynamin-2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0523) is a valuable tool for researchers studying Dynamin-2, a GTPase protein known for its role in endocytosis, membrane trafficking, and cell division. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and reactivity towards human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot and immunofluorescence applications.Dynamin-2 is a key player in cellular processes such as clathrin-mediated endocytosis and cytokinesis, making it a crucial target for investigation in cell biology and cancer research. By binding to Dynamin-2, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze the protein in various cell types, providing insights into its function and localization within the cell.
The dysregulation of Dynamin-2 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and viral infections. Understanding the mechanisms by which Dynamin-2 contributes to these pathologies is essential for the development of targeted therapies and diagnostic tools. By using the Dynamin-2 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can further elucidate the role of this protein in health and disease, leading to potential advancements in biomedical research and clinical applications.

Dynamins represent one of the subfamilies of GTP-binding proteins. These proteins share considerable sequence similarity over the N-terminal portion of the molecule, which contains the GTPase domain. Dynamins are associated with microtubules. They have been implicated in cell processes such as endocytosis and cell motility, and in alterations of the membrane that accompany certain activities such as bone resorption by osteoclasts. Dynamins bind many proteins that bind actin and other cytoskeletal proteins. Dynamins can also self-assemble, a process that stimulates GTPase activity. Five alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different proteins have been described. Additional alternatively spliced transcripts may exist, but their full-length nature has not been determined.
