The DUSP14 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10287) is a powerful tool for researchers studying DUSP14, a dual-specificity phosphatase involved in regulating cell signaling pathways. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it an ideal choice for Western blot applications. By targeting the DUSP14 protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze its expression in various biological samples, providing valuable insights into its function in cellular processes.DUSP14 is known for its role in dephosphorylating key signaling molecules involved in cell growth, differentiation, and survival.
By modulating these pathways, DUSP14 helps to maintain cellular homeostasis and regulate responses to external stimuli. Research on DUSP14 is crucial for understanding its potential implications in various diseases, such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and immune-related conditions. With the use of the DUSP14 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can delve deeper into the mechanisms underlying DUSP14 function and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for precision medicine approaches.

Dual-specificity phosphatases (DUSPs) constitute a large heterogeneous subgroup of the type I cysteine-based protein-tyrosine phosphatase superfamily. DUSPs are characterized by their ability to dephosphorylate both tyrosine and serine/threonine residues. They have been implicated as major modulators of critical signaling pathways. DUSP14 contains the consensus DUSP C-terminal catalytic domain but lacks the N-terminal CH2 domain found in the MKP (mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase) class of DUSPs (see MIM 600714) (summary by Patterson et al., 2009 [PubMed 19228121]).
