The DPP9 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15547) is a valuable tool for researchers studying DPP9, a serine protease that plays a role in immune response regulation and inflammation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the DPP9 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of DPP9 in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in immunology and inflammatory diseases.DPP9, also known as dipeptidyl peptidase 9, is involved in the processing of peptides and proteins, and its dysregulation has been linked to inflammatory disorders, autoimmune diseases, and cancer.
Understanding the function of DPP9 is crucial for developing targeted therapies that can modulate immune responses and potentially treat these conditions. The DPP9 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15547) is a valuable tool for researchers aiming to elucidate the role of DPP9 in immune regulation and disease pathogenesis.

Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-100 of human DPP9 (NP_631898.3).
This gene encodes a protein that is a member of the S9B family in clan SC of the serine proteases. The protein has been shown to have post-proline dipeptidyl aminopeptidase activity, cleaving Xaa-Pro dipeptides from the N-termini of proteins. Although the activity of this protein is similar to that of dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP4), it does not appear to be membrane bound. In general, dipeptidyl peptidases appear to be involved in the regulation of the activity of their substrates and have been linked to a variety of diseases including type 2 diabetes, obesity and cancer. Several transcript variants of this gene have been described but not fully characterized.
