The DHX38 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB4341) is a crucial tool for researchers studying DHX38, a key regulator in RNA metabolism. This antibody, raised in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the DHX38 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an essential tool for studies in molecular biology and RNA processing.DHX38, also known as RNA helicase, plays a pivotal role in unwinding RNA structures and regulating RNA-protein interactions.
Its involvement in multiple processes such as splicing, translation, and RNA degradation highlights its significance in gene expression regulation. Understanding the function of DHX38 is essential for uncovering its role in diseases like cancer, genetic disorders, and viral infections. The DHX38 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a valuable resource to further explore the intricate mechanisms of RNA metabolism and its implications in various pathological conditions.

DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of this family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the DEAD/H box family of splicing factors. This protein resembles yeast Prp16 more closely than other DEAD/H family members. It is an ATPase and essential for the catalytic step II in pre-mRNA splicing process.
