The DGCR6L Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15202) is a valuable tool for researchers studying DGCR6L, a protein encoded by the DGCR6L gene. DGCR6L has been linked to DiGeorge syndrome, a genetic disorder that affects development of several body systems. This antibody, produced in rabbits, shows high specificity for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. The antibody binds to the DGCR6L protein, allowing for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types.
Researchers studying genetic disorders, developmental biology, and molecular biology will find this antibody essential for their studies. By understanding the function and expression of DGCR6L, researchers can further investigate its role in disease development and potentially uncover new therapeutic targets.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-220 of human DGCR6L (NP_150282.2).
This gene, the result of a duplication at this locus, is one of two functional genes encoding nearly identical proteins that have similar expression patterns. The product of this gene is a protein that shares homology with the Drosophila gonadal protein, expressed in gonadal tissues and germ cells, and with the human laminin gamma-1 chain that functions in cell attachment and migration. This gene is located in a region of chromosome 22 implicated in the DiGeorge syndrome, one facet of a broader collection of anomalies referred to as the CATCH 22 syndrome.
