The DDX56 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB9487) is a valuable tool for researchers studying DDX56, a protein involved in RNA processing and regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is recommended for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the DDX56 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in RNA biology, gene expression, and RNA-related diseases.DDX56, a member of the DEAD-box RNA helicase family, plays a crucial role in RNA metabolism by unwinding RNA duplexes and facilitating various steps in RNA processing.
Dysregulation of DDX56 has been implicated in diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and viral infections. Studying the function and regulation of DDX56 is essential for understanding its role in these pathological conditions and for identifying potential therapeutic targets.Overall, the DDX56 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable tool for researchers seeking to investigate the functions and regulatory mechanisms of DDX56 in different biological contexts. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it a valuable asset for advancing our understanding of RNA biology and its implications in human health and disease.

This gene encodes a member of the DEAD box protein family. DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of this family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. The protein encoded by this gene shows ATPase activity in the presence of polynucleotides and associates with nucleoplasmic 65S preribosomal particles. This gene may be involved in ribosome synthesis, most likely during assembly of the large 60S ribosomal subunit. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
