The DDX47 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10359) is a valuable tool for researchers studying DDX47, a protein involved in RNA metabolism and RNA-protein interactions. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.DDX47 is a member of the DEAD-box RNA helicase family and plays a vital role in various cellular processes, including RNA splicing, translation, and ribosome biogenesis. Dysregulation of DDX47 has been linked to diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.
By using the DDX47 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can investigate the expression and localization of DDX47 in different cell types and tissues. This antibody enables the detection and analysis of DDX47 protein levels, furthering our understanding of its function and potential implications in disease pathology.Overall, the DDX47 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying RNA metabolism and its role in human health and disease.

This gene encodes a member of the DEAD box protein family. DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure, such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of this family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. The protein encoded by this gene can shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm, and has an RNA-independent ATPase activity. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
