The Cyclin H Monoclonal Antibody is a crucial tool for researchers studying cell cycle regulation and cancer development. This antibody, developed by Assay Genie, specifically targets cyclin H, a key protein involved in cell cycle progression and DNA repair processes.Cyclin H is known to form complexes with CDK7 and MAT1, contributing to the activation of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and ultimately regulating cell cycle checkpoints. Dysregulation of cyclin H has been linked to various cancer types, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention. This monoclonal antibody is highly specific and sensitive, allowing for accurate detection and analysis of cyclin H levels in various cell types and tissues.
It is validated for use in techniques such as Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation, providing researchers with valuable insights into the role of cyclin H in cellular processes.By using the Cyclin H Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can further explore the mechanisms underlying cell cycle control and cancer progression, ultimately contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment. Don't miss out on the opportunity to advance your research with this high-quality antibody from Assay Genie.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the highly conserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by a dramatic periodicity in protein abundance through the cell cycle. Cyclins function as regulators of CDK kinases. Different cyclins exhibit distinct expression and degradation patterns which contribute to the temporal coordination of each mitotic event. This cyclin forms a complex with CDK7 kinase and ring finger protein MAT1. The kinase complex is able to phosphorylate CDK2 and CDC2 kinases, thus functions as a CDK-activating kinase (CAK). This cyclin and its kinase partner are components of TFIIH, as well as RNA polymerase II protein complexes. They participate in two different transcriptional regulation processes, suggesting an important link between basal transcription control and the cell cycle machinery. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 4. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
