The CXCR4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1303) is a valuable tool for research involving the CXCR4 protein, a chemokine receptor involved in various cellular processes, including immune response and cancer metastasis. This antibody is raised in rabbits and exhibits high reactivity with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blotting and immunohistochemistry applications.CXCR4, also known as C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4, plays a crucial role in immune cell trafficking and homing to specific tissues through its interaction with the chemokine ligand CXCL12. Dysregulation of the CXCR4/CXCL12 axis has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, HIV/AIDS, and inflammatory conditions.
Studying the function and expression of CXCR4 is essential for understanding its role in disease pathology and for developing targeted therapies. The CXCR4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1303) enables researchers to detect and analyze the expression of CXCR4 in different cell types and tissues, providing valuable insights into its involvement in immune regulation and disease progression. By utilizing this antibody, scientists can further explore the potential of targeting CXCR4 for therapeutic interventions in various pathological conditions.

This gene encodes a CXC chemokine receptor specific for stromal cell-derived factor-1. The protein has 7 transmembrane regions and is located on the cell surface. It acts with the CD4 protein to support HIV entry into cells and is also highly expressed in breast cancer cells. Mutations in this gene have been associated with WHIM (warts, hypogammaglobulinemia, infections, and myelokathexis) syndrome. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
