The CXCR3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2939) is specifically designed for research involving CXCR3, a chemokine receptor known for its role in inflammation and immune responses. The antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting.CXCR3 is a key player in the recruitment and activation of immune cells, making it a promising target for studies in immunology, inflammation, and cancer research. By binding to the CXCR3 protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze its expression in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its functions and potential therapeutic applications.
Understanding the role of CXCR3 in immune regulation is essential for developing targeted therapies for conditions such as autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammation, and cancer. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the CXCR3 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the complex mechanisms of immune responses and inflammatory processes.

This gene encodes a G protein-coupled receptor with selectivity for three chemokines, termed CXCL9/Mig (monokine induced by interferon-g), CXCL10/IP10 (interferon-g-inducible 10 kDa protein) and CXCL11/I-TAC (interferon-inducible T cell a-chemoattractant). Binding of chemokines to this protein induces cellular responses that are involved in leukocyte traffic, most notably integrin activation, cytoskeletal changes and chemotactic migration. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. One of the isoforms (CXCR3-B) shows high affinity binding to chemokine, CXCL4/PF4 (PMID:12782716).
