The CTNND2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12633) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CTNND2, a protein involved in cell adhesion and signaling pathways. This rabbit-derived antibody is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the CTNND2 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential component for studies in cell biology and cancer research.CTNND2, also known as delta-catenin, plays a crucial role in maintaining cell-cell adhesion and communication within tissues.
Dysregulation of CTNND2 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodevelopmental disorders. By investigating the functions and interactions of CTNND2, researchers can gain insights into disease mechanisms and potentially identify new therapeutic targets. The CTNND2 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable tool for researchers seeking to explore the role of CTNND2 in cellular processes and disease pathogenesis. Its specificity and sensitivity make it a valuable asset for studies aimed at understanding the functions of CTNND2 and its implications in health and disease.

This gene encodes an adhesive junction associated protein of the armadillo/beta-catenin superfamily and is implicated in brain and eye development and cancer formation. The protein encoded by this gene promotes the disruption of E-cadherin based adherens junction to favor cell spreading upon stimulation by hepatocyte growth factor. This gene is overexpressed in prostate adenocarcinomas and is associated with decreased expression of tumor suppressor E-cadherin in this tissue. This gene resides in a region of the short arm of chromosome 5 that is deleted in Cri du Chat syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
