The CSPP1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB9983) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CSPP1, a protein involved in various cellular processes including cell division and cytoskeletal organization. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. It binds to the CSPP1 protein, allowing for detection and analysis in different cell types, making it ideal for studies in cell biology and cancer research.CSPP1, also known as centrosome and spindle pole-associated protein 1, plays a crucial role in mitotic spindle organization and chromosome segregation during cell division.
Dysregulation of CSPP1 has been implicated in cancer progression and other diseases, highlighting its importance as a potential therapeutic target. By elucidating the function of CSPP1, researchers can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying disease pathology and develop targeted treatment strategies.

This gene encodes a centrosome and spindle pole associated protein. The encoded protein plays a role in cell-cycle progression and spindle organization, regulates cytokinesis, interacts with Nephrocystin 8 and is required for cilia formation. Mutations in this gene result in primary cilia abnormalities and classical Joubert syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
