The CRADD Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1124) is an essential tool for researchers studying CRADD, a protein involved in apoptosis and cell death pathways. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the CRADD protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze CRADD expression in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for studies in cell biology, cancer research, and drug development.CRADD, also known as CASP2 and RIPK1 domain-containing protein, plays a crucial role in mediating cell death signals and regulating apoptosis in response to various stress stimuli.
Its involvement in cell survival and death pathways makes it a key target for research into diseases like cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. Understanding the function of CRADD is essential for developing new therapies that target cell death pathways and promote cell survival in disease contexts.
Product Name:
RAIDD/CRADD Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB1124
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-199 of human RAIDD/RAIDD/CRADD (NP_003796.1).
This gene encodes a protein containing a death domain (DD) motif. This protein recruits caspase 2/ICH1 to the cell death signal transduction complex, which includes tumor necrosis factor receptor 1 (TNFR1A) and RIPK1/RIP kinase, and acts in promoting apoptosis. A mutation in this gene was associated with cognitive disability. A related pseudogene is found on chromosome 3. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
Gene ID:
8738
Storage Buffer:
Store at -20℃. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide,50% glycerol,pH7.3.
Western blot analysis of various lysates using RAIDD/CRADD Rabbit pAb (CAB1124) at 1:1000 dilution.Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (CABS014) at 1:10000 dilution.Lysates/proteins: 25μg per lane.Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.Detection: ECL Basic Kit (AbGn00020).Exposure time: 10s.
