Description
COTL1 Monoclonal Antibody [PAT1D6AT] (CPAB0607)
The COTL1 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0607) is a valuable tool for researchers studying COTL1, a protein involved in various cellular processes, including cytoskeleton organization and cell migration. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the COTL1 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a wide range of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in cell biology and cancer research.
COTL1, also known as Coactosin-like protein 1, plays a crucial role in regulating actin dynamics and promoting cell motility. Its involvement in these key cellular processes makes it a promising target for research into cancer metastasis, cell invasion, and cytoskeleton dynamics. By studying the function of COTL1, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these processes and potentially uncover new therapeutic targets for cancer treatment.

Background: | Coactosin-like protein (COTL1) is one of the numerous actin-binding proteins which regulate the actin cytoskeleton. COTL1 binds F-actin, it also interacts with 5-lipoxygenase, which is the first committed enzyme in leukotriene biosynthesis. COTL1 binds to F-actin in a calcium-independent way and has no direct effect on actin depolymerization. |
