The Complement C3 Monoclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the complement system, a key component of the immune system. This antibody, produced using recombinant technology, specifically targets the Complement C3 protein, which plays a crucial role in the complement cascade and immune response. The antibody is highly specific to human samples and is suitable for use in various applications, including Western blotting and immunohistochemistry. Its high binding affinity allows for precise detection and analysis of Complement C3 in different cell types and tissues.Complement C3 is essential for both innate and adaptive immune responses, with dysregulation of its activity implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions.
By studying the role of Complement C3 in these diseases, researchers can gain valuable insights into potential therapeutic targets and treatment strategies.Overall, the Complement C3 Monoclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for investigating the complex mechanisms of the complement system and its implications in immune-related diseases, paving the way for future advancements in immunology and drug development.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1364-1663 of mouse Complement C3 (NP_033908.2).
This gene encodes complement protein C3 which plays a central role in the classical, alternative and lectin activation pathways of the complement system. The encoded preproprotein undergoes a multi-step processing to generate various functional peptides. Mice deficient in the encoded protein fail to clear bacteria from the blood stream upon infection, display diminished airway hyperresponsiveness and lung eosinophilia upon allergen-induced pulmonary allergy, and develop severe lung injury after deposition of IgG immune complexes. Deficiency of the homolog of the encoded protein in humans was found to be associated with increased susceptibility to infections, age-related macular degeneration, and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome.
