Description
CNDP2 Monoclonal Antibody [PAT15E5AT] (CPAB0123)
The CNDP2 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0123) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CNDP2, a crucial enzyme involved in the metabolism of proteins and peptides. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it an ideal choice for experiments such as Western blotting and immunohistochemistry.CNDP2, also known as carnosine dipeptidase 2, plays a vital role in regulating cellular processes related to protein turnover and peptide degradation.
Dysregulation of CNDP2 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. By utilizing the CNDP2 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain insights into the expression and function of CNDP2 in different cell types and tissues, advancing our understanding of its role in health and disease.

Background: | CNDP Dipeptidase 2 (CNDP2), is a cytosolic, non-specific dipeptidase which is a part of the peptidase M20A protein family. CNDP2 is a secreted peptidase homologous to M20 peptidases. CNDP2 expresses through all adult and fetal tissue, though, an isoform missing exons 3 and 4 expresses in all fetal tissue in adult liver. Over expression of CPGL-B in hepatocellular carcinoma cells results in significant inhibition of HC cell viability, colony formation, cell invasiveness and tumor configuration. |
Synonyms: | Cytosolic non-specific dipeptidase, CNDP dipeptidase 2, CN2, CPGL, HsT2298, PEPA, Glutamate carboxypeptidase-like protein 1, Peptidase A. |
Storage Buffer: | For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles. |
