Description
CLEC4E Monoclonal Antibody [PAT16E3AT] (CPAB0431)
The CLEC4E Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0431) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CLEC4E, a type II transmembrane protein that plays a role in immune regulation and pathogen recognition. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is suitable for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the CLEC4E protein, researchers can easily detect and analyze its expression in various cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in immunology and infectious disease research.CLEC4E, also known as C-type lectin domain family 4 member E, is involved in the recognition of pathogens and activation of immune responses.
Its function in immune regulation highlights its importance in understanding host-pathogen interactions and developing novel therapies for infectious diseases. By studying the activity of CLEC4E, researchers can gain insights into how the immune system responds to pathogens and identify potential targets for therapeutic intervention.Overall, the CLEC4E Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers interested in investigating the role of CLEC4E in immune responses and pathogen recognition. Its high specificity and reactivity make it a reliable option for studying this important immune regulator in various research settings.

Background: | CLEC4E (MINCLE or CLECSF9), belongs to a diverse family of proteins which were originally defined by their ability to recognize a wide range of ligands of carbohydrate structure. MINCLE is expressed in macrophages subjected to several types of stress. CLEC4E has an important role in response to trehalose-6,6''-dimycolate (TDM) and activated by a synthetic analogue, trehalose dibehenate (TDB). It was reported recently that MINCLE is connected with an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif containing Fc receptor gamma chain (FcRgamma) and functions as an activating receptor for damaged self- and non-self-pathogenic fungi. |
