The CGB7 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12605) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the CGB7 protein, which is a glycoprotein that plays a critical role in pregnancy and fertility. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.CGB7 is a member of the glycoprotein hormone alpha chain family and is primarily expressed in the placenta, where it plays a key role in supporting pregnancy by promoting the growth and development of the embryo. Dysregulation of CGB7 expression has been implicated in infertility and pregnancy complications, making it a target of interest for researchers in the fields of reproductive biology and obstetrics.
By using the CGB7 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can accurately detect and quantify CGB7 levels in various biological samples, providing valuable insights into its function and potential implications for reproductive health. This antibody is a valuable tool for furthering our understanding of pregnancy-related processes and developing potential diagnostic or therapeutic strategies for individuals facing fertility challenges.

This gene is a member of the glycoprotein hormone beta chain family and encodes the beta 7 subunit of chorionic gonadotropin (CG). Glycoprotein hormones are heterodimers consisting of a common alpha subunit and an unique beta subunit which confers biological specificity. CG is produced by the trophoblastic cells of the placenta and stimulates the ovaries to synthesize the steroids that are essential for the maintenance of pregnancy. The beta subunit of CG is encoded by 6 genes which are arranged in tandem and inverted pairs on chromosome 19q13.3 and contiguous with the luteinizing hormone beta subunit gene.
