The CELF1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB5958) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CELF1, a RNA-binding protein involved in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot assays. By binding to CELF1, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of CELF1 protein levels in various cell types.CELF1 is known to play a crucial role in the regulation of RNA splicing, stability, and translation, making it an important player in processes such as development, cell growth, and differentiation.
Dysregulation of CELF1 has been linked to diseases such as muscular dystrophy, heart disease, and cancer, highlighting the significance of studying this protein in various pathological conditions. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the CELF1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB5958) is a valuable tool for researchers interested in unraveling the molecular mechanisms underlying CELF1 function and its implications in disease pathology. Its use in Western blot applications makes it a versatile reagent for studies in molecular biology, cell biology, and disease research.
Product Name:
CELF1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

CAB5958
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 108-483 of human CELF1 (NP_941989.1).
Members of the CELF/BRUNOL protein family contain two N-terminal RNA recognition motif (RRM) domains, one C-terminal RRM domain, and a divergent segment of 160-230 aa between the second and third RRM domains. Members of this protein family regulate pre-mRNA alternative splicing and may also be involved in mRNA editing, and translation. This gene may play a role in myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1) via interactions with the dystrophia myotonica-protein kinase (DMPK) gene. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
