The CEBPD Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15262) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the CEBPD protein, a transcription factor involved in various cellular processes. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the CEBPD protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it suitable for investigations in fields such as molecular biology and cancer research.
CEBPD, also known as C/EBP delta, plays a key role in regulating gene expression and cellular differentiation, particularly in response to stress and inflammatory signals. Its involvement in diverse pathways makes it a promising target for exploration in conditions such as cancer, metabolic diseases, and immune disorders. Uncovering the functions of CEBPD is crucial for developing a deeper understanding of its impact on cellular processes and potential therapeutic applications aimed at manipulating gene expression.
Product Name:
CEBPD Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB15262
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 50-150 of human CEBP Delta/CEBPD (NP_005186.2).
The protein encoded by this intronless gene is a bZIP transcription factor which can bind as a homodimer to certain DNA regulatory regions. It can also form heterodimers with the related protein CEBP-alpha. The encoded protein is important in the regulation of genes involved in immune and inflammatory responses, and may be involved in the regulation of genes associated with activation and/or differentiation of macrophages. The cytogenetic location of this locus has been reported as both 8p11 and 8q11.
