The CDHR5 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13850) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CDHR5, a transmembrane protein involved in cell adhesion and signaling processes. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity to human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications. By binding to CDHR5, researchers can detect and analyze this protein in various cell types, providing insights into its role in cellular function.CDHR5 is known to play a role in epithelial cell interactions and has been implicated in various diseases, including gastrointestinal disorders and certain cancers.
By investigating the function of CDHR5, researchers can gain a better understanding of its involvement in disease pathogenesis and potentially identify new therapeutic targets. The CDHR5 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for advancing research in areas such as cell biology, oncology, and gastrointestinal health.

This gene is a novel mucin-like gene that is a member of the cadherin superfamily. While encoding nonpolymorphic tandem repeats rich in proline, serine and threonine similar to mucin proteins, the gene also contains sequence encoding calcium-binding motifs found in all cadherins. The role of the hybrid extracellular region and the specific function of this protein have not yet been determined. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
