The CDC45 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16032) is a vital tool for researchers studying CDC45, a key protein involved in DNA replication and cell cycle regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity in detecting CDC45 protein in human samples, making it ideal for Western blot experiments. By targeting and binding to CDC45, this antibody allows for accurate and reliable analysis of this crucial protein in various cell types.CDC45, a component of the replication factor C complex, plays a crucial role in DNA replication initiation and progression. Its essential function in maintaining genomic stability and integrity makes CDC45 a critical target for studies in molecular biology and cancer research.
Understanding the role of CDC45 in cell cycle regulation is essential for unraveling the mechanisms underlying DNA replication and potentially identifying new therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. The CDC45 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16032) provides researchers with a valuable tool for investigating the functions of CDC45 and its implications in cellular processes and disease development. Its high specificity and reliability make it a valuable asset in advancing our understanding of DNA replication and cell cycle control.

The protein encoded by this gene was identified by its strong similarity with Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc45, an essential protein required to the initiation of DNA replication. Cdc45 is a member of the highly conserved multiprotein complex including Cdc6/Cdc18, the minichromosome maintenance proteins (MCMs) and DNA polymerase, which is important for early steps of DNA replication in eukaryotes. This protein has been shown to interact with MCM7 and DNA polymerase alpha. Studies of the similar gene in Xenopus suggested that this protein play a pivotal role in the loading of DNA polymerase alpha onto chromatin. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
