The CD99 Monoclonal Antibody is a high-quality antibody designed for research involving CD99, a cell surface glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion and migration. This monoclonal antibody, produced in mice, is highly specific and sensitive for detecting CD99 protein in human samples. Validated for use in various applications including immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of CD99 expression in different cell types.CD99, also known as a key regulator of leukocyte adhesion, plays a crucial role in immune response and cell signaling pathways.
Its involvement in cell adhesion and migration processes makes it an important target for studies in immunology, cancer research, and autoimmune disorders. Understanding the function of CD99 is essential for developing targeted therapies that may impact cell adhesion and migration in various diseases.Overall, the CD99 Monoclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of CD99 in various physiological and pathological processes, providing insights that may contribute to the development of novel treatment strategies.
Product Name:
CD99 Monoclonal Antibody

20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1-100 of human CD99 (NP_002405.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a cell surface glycoprotein involved in leukocyte migration, T-cell adhesion, ganglioside GM1 and transmembrane protein transport, and T-cell death by a caspase-independent pathway. In addition, the encoded protein may have the ability to rearrange the actin cytoskeleton and may also act as an oncosuppressor in osteosarcoma. This gene is found in the pseudoautosomal region of chromosomes X and Y and escapes X-chromosome inactivation. There is a related pseudogene located immediately adjacent to this locus.
