Description
CD90 Thy-1 Monoclonal Antibody [mThy-1] (CPAB0358)
The CD90 (Thy-1) Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0358) offered by Assay Genie is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD90 (Thy-1), a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein known for its involvement in cell adhesion, migration, and signal transduction. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in applications such as Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry.CD90 (Thy-1) is a marker of stem cells and certain types of cancer cells, making this antibody particularly useful for studies in stem cell biology, cancer research, and regenerative medicine.
By targeting the CD90 protein, researchers can analyze its expression and function in various cell types, providing important insights into cell behavior and disease mechanisms. With its high reactivity and specificity, the CD90 (Thy-1) Polyclonal Antibody from Assay Genie is a valuable tool for investigating the role of CD90 in normal physiological processes and pathological conditions. Whether studying stem cell populations, tumor progression, or immune cell interactions, this antibody can help advance research and understanding in a variety of fields.

Background: | CD-90 plays a role in cell-cell or cell-ligand interactions during synaptogenesis and other events in the brain. Thy-1 is the designation for a major cell surface glycoprotein characteristic to T cells,. The Thy-1 glycoproteins are constituents of thymocytes and neurons and probably are involved in cell-cell interactions. Human Thy-1 homolog maps to chromosome 11 because that is where T3D is found, in the mouse T3D and Thy-1 map to chromosome 9 along with certain other loci that are on human 11q. |
