Description
CD90.1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB23659)
The CD90-1 Polyclonal Antibody (AB10009) is a specialized tool for studying the CD90-1 protein, a cell surface marker commonly used to identify and isolate mesenchymal stem cells. This antibody, produced through rabbit immunization, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the CD90-1 protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze its expression in various cell types, making it an essential resource for studies in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine.CD90-1, also known as Thy-1 antigen, is a crucial marker for mesenchymal stem cells due to its role in cell adhesion, migration, and proliferation.
Its presence on the cell surface allows for the identification and characterization of these multipotent cells, which hold great potential for therapeutic applications in tissue repair and regeneration. By targeting CD90-1 with this antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the biology and function of mesenchymal stem cells, advancing our understanding of their therapeutic potential in various diseases and injuries.

This gene encodes a glycoprotein that is anchored to the cell surface of thymocytes, neuronal and other cells through a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol moiety. A soluble form of the encoded protein has also been detected in serum and cerebrospinal fluid. The encoded protein undergoes further processing to generate the mature protein which mediates cell-cell interactions to trigger downstream signaling pathways.
